The driver points are calculated using the scheme below based on finishing position.
The team points are calculated off of the total points awarded from both drivers, divided by two to make the team points of equal value and fair.
**There are two bonus points awarded for *pole position* from qualifying and *fastest lap* during the race.
These points are not only awarded to the driver but the respective team as well.
If any of this is confusing, just let me know and I can show you the Excel sheet they are calculated in.
